The study abroad agent career ladder.
Most consultancies have five steps, from trainee to branch head. Each step asks you for the same four things. You will not find pay figures here, and we explain why below.

A typical office
What an employer's ladder looks like.
This is how consultancies usually organise their people. It is not the school's own path. That one has seven rungs, which we will announce after Batch 1 (May 2027) on The path. Read the strip from left to right.
- The first monthsTrainee
You sit beside a mentor and carry half the target. Every day ends with a 15-minute review. This is the place to make your mistakes, while a senior is watching.
- Own leadsAgent
Now the leads, the student meetings and the files are yours. You write a CRM note after every meeting. The office counts how many families go ahead with you, and it counts complaints too.
- The hard casesSenior agent
You get the refusals, the study gaps, the small budgets and the angry parent. You review the juniors' recorded meetings and look after trainees on the live floor.
- One teamTeam leader
You report every day, share out the leads and check file quality. Once a month you sit down with each agent for a review.
- One officeBranch head
You handle hiring, targets, compliance, the licence, the records and any grievance. You also sit with the school at the final viva.
How many agents make "one team", and how many months each step takes, is for every employer to decide. So we do not print fixed numbers.
The guide About 3 min
What each step needs.
You need all four together. If one is weak, the other three cannot cover for it.
- Months in role. You should stay long enough to see one full intake cycle, from the first enquiry to the offer, then the visa decision, then the day the student leaves.
- File quality. The checklist is complete, the documents are in order, the SOP is free of the common mistakes, and there is a CRM note after every meeting. Files that get sent back are counted.
- Complaints record. The office looks at how many families complained and why. A complaint that comes from over-promising weighs the most. Without a clean record you do not reach the senior step.
- Honest conversion. This is how many enquiries reach a meeting, and how many meetings reach a file. If you win families by promising, they come back as complaints, so the two numbers are always read together.
After the course
Angels Immigration interviews every graduate and selects some of them. The others get help with placement. There is no guarantee of a job.
Graduates who join Angels and stay get their fee back in four equal parts of ₹10,000, at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. The conditions are on the Fees page.
Batch 1 starts in Mohali on Monday 4 January 2027.
The rules
Four things we say plainly.
- No pay figuresPay depends on the employer, the city, the role and how well you do the work. Any number we print would read as a promise, and we do not make promises. Ask us at an orientation and we will tell you what depends on what.
- The certificateSchool of Immigration is a private training school. The certificate is the school's own Certificate of Completion. It is not a diploma, a degree, a travel agent licence or a licence to give immigration advice. It is not a government-recognised qualification in any country either. Full statement.
- Training, not a visa serviceThis school is not a visa service for the people who study here. We do not offer any visa, admission or "go abroad" service. We only train you to become a study abroad agent.
- No phone callsWe do not make or take phone calls. Once your application is complete, you can ask your questions on WhatsApp at +91 85910 18586.
